From the NAR: Present-Residence Gross sales Declined 2.5% in August
In August 2024, existing-home gross sales fell within the South, West, and Northeast, whereas the Midwest registered no change. 12 months-over-year, gross sales slipped in three areas however remained secure within the Northeast.

Gross sales in August (3.86 million SAAR) have been down 2.5% from the earlier month and have been 4.2% under the August 2023 gross sales price.
